Dear Member of Parliament,
I write to you today as a [church leader / church member / etc] to express my fear and indignation for my transgender siblings. I believe that trans people reflect the beauty and diversity of creation, are equal members of our church family, and are a blessing to my life. I stand with the transgender, non-binary, and intersex communities, and will not remain silent while their lives become more and more politicised.
I have deep concern regarding the [insert topic here. I.E. the EHRC guidance]. I believe this has been an intentional effort to limit the rights of trans people, and force them out of public life.
My experience… [insert why this is relevant to you and why you’re passionate about supporting trans people].
Many of the campaigners of these movements claim to want to protect women and women’s spaces. The Equality Act already had provisions allowing trans people to be excluded from single-sex spaces under limited circumstances. Transphobia does not protect women, but distracts from the significant issues facing women.

Evidence suggests that trans people are a vulnerable and oppressed group, and are increasingly becoming more isolated:
I urge you to stand up for the rights of transgender, non-binary and intersex people by opposing the dangerous precedent set by and since the Supreme Court ruling. Please act to protect the lives of trans people, and speak publicly in defence of the right to privacy, dignity, and recognition. In particular, you can use your platform to:
Thank you for … [insert situation you are thankful to your MP for].
