Questions
Never share someone is trans* without their consent.
Never assume or insist it is the trans* persons job to share personal information.
If in doubt never ask a trans* person a question you would not ask a cisgender person.
Let them share on their terms, ask open questions.
Toilets
Pronouns
Where possible, make toilets gender-netural and accessible. With separate spaces, consider ‘what’s in here’ signage. Provide menstrual products in all toilets.
Respect others by using their correct name and pronouns. These may match their appearance, they may not.
Some are called neopronouns as they are newly in use.

Write to your MP
Donate, give and hold fund-raising events for your local trans* and LGBTQ+ groups.
Use our provided guidance to write to your MP. You may be able to hold meetings, and have influence with other local decision makers.
